Koitamme mennä aamiaiselle mahdollisimman aikaisin, jotta pääsisimme rannalle mahdollisimman aikaisin. Iltaisin olemme aina niin väsyneitä että blogaaminen jää väistämättä aamulle. Tällä hetkellä Juhan aurinkoherkkyydestä johtuen, Krista lähtee aikaisin rannalle ja Juha jää blogaamaan. Juha saapuu aina noin tunnin jälkijunassa rannalle.
Rannalla pelasimme aurinkovarjon suojassa shakkia ja kävimme meressä uimassa.
Iltapäivälle olimme suunnitelleet reissun pesulaan. Niinpä hyvin kevyen lounaan jälkeen lähdimme rinkka täynnä likaisia vaatteita kohti ainutta tietämäämme pesulaa. Pesula ei ollut aivan sitä mitä me haimme, se oli “pukupesula” joka ei oikein sovellu tarpeisiimme. Ongelmaksi olisi muodostunut se että omistaja puhuu vain italiaa, mutta paikalla ollut toinen asiakas (jota veikkasimme jenkiksi) puhui englantia ja italiaa joten saimme selvitettyä tilanteen. Tämä pesula on ainut pesula mitä löytyy ja koska tämä on parempi pesula se veloittaa per vaate hinnan. Niinpä teimme arvion mitkä vaatteet on pakko laittaa pesuun ja mitkä voimme pestä käsin.
Toinen tälle iltapäivälle tarkoitettu reissu oli reissu pankkiautomaatille. Saimme pesulassa selvitettyä että moinen löytyisi Baronesta, joka on pieni kylä mäen päällä. Vaikka meitä ohjeistettiin ottamaan bussi, kävelimme ylös, sillä erityisesti Juhan vaatetus oli keskipäivän helteeseen sopiva (ks. kuvat).
Baronissa vietimme vain hetken. Kävimme pankkiautomaatilla ja totesimme kaikkien muiden (meille) hyödyllisten liikkeiden olevan kiinni vielä ainakin tunnin. Niinpä vietimme kevyen “kuvaushetken” näköalapaikalla bussia odottaen. Kun bussia ei lähes tuntiin ollut kuulunut lähdimme kävelemään takaisin alas. Matkalla pysähdyimme bussipysäkille kysymään siinä olevalta naiselta koska bussi tulee, mutta hän ei osannut vastata. Meidän onneksi bussi saapui noin 30 sekunttia tämän keskustelun jälkeen 🙂
Illemmalla Juha sai isännältä Aloeveraa (tjsp) auringonpolttamiinsa. Tarkoitamme siis ihan oikeaa kasvia, jota hierottiin palaneeseen kohtaan. Krista innostui tästä luonnon omasta geelistä siinä määrin että hieroi sitä koko vartaloonsa. Jälkihuomautuksena allekirjoittanut voi kertoa että se tavara haisee hetken kuluttua pahalle.
Kirjoitimme taas kortteja, joita on vielä useita kirjoitettavana, ainakin Juhalla joka on laiska. Korttien kirjoittamisen lisäksi meillä oli myös nyrkkipyykkiä iltapuhteina.
Illalla kävimme syömässä Paradisessa, tällä kertaa pidemmän kaavan mukaan. Alkupalaa, pitsaa ja viiniä :). Jälkkäreihin ei enää ollut varaa eikä tilaa. 🙂
We try to go to the breakfast as soon as possible in the morning, so we could go the beach as early as possible. In the evening we are so tired that the blogging has to be moved to the following morning. At this moment due to Juha’s sensitivity to sun Krista leaves to beach early in the morning and Juha stays to write the blog. It takes about an hour.
On the beach we played chess under the shade of sun umbrella and went for a swim in the ocean.
For afternoon we had planned a trip to the laundry. So after a very light dinner we left with a full backbag of clothes to the only laundry we knew. The laundry was not what we were seeking. This laundry washed clothes and charged by the clothe, not by kilos or didn’t allow us do the laundry. We had to decide what clothes must be washed in here and what we could wash our selfs. We would have had a huge problem with the language hadn’t another client in the store been fluent in english and in italian (we think he was american). This laundry was the only laundry so we chose four clothes to wash in here and some we chose to wash our selfs, others have to wait.
The other trip for today was to a ATM. In the laundry we found out that the closest ATM is in the Barone, which is on top of the hill. We were instructed to take a bus, but since Juha’s clothing was very suitable for the afternoon sun (see pictures) we chose to walk all the way up. (not that much of climbing in the end)
We were only a brief moment in Barone. We went to the ATM and found out that all the relevant stores (for us) were closed atleast for another hour. So we took few pictures (of Krista, she’s the better looking one) 🙂 while we waited for the bus. We waited almost an hour and then started to walk back. On our walk back we found a bus stop with a lady waiting for bus. She didn’t know when the next bus would arrive but just as we had changed this information the bus appeared.
In the evening Juha got Aloevera (or something like that) from our host for his sun burns. We mean the real plant, which one rubs againts the burned skin. Krista got so exited about this natural gel that she rubbed it all over her self. I can tell you that it also starts to stink after a little while.
In the evening we wrote some cards, which Juha has lots of to write, because he is lacy. After that we had some laundry to do.
We went again to eat in the Paradise, this time we did the long version. We didn’t have to money or the space in out stomach for the desert.
